Tate Rodemaker, a Georgia HS QB who last summer committed to USF, just received an offer from Andy. AL made the trip to Georgia to see this kid, who has been absolutely tearing it up in Georgia, in practice and offered that day. He is 6-4, 195-pound Pro-Style Quarterback from Valdosta, GA.
Here are some of his numbers: RecruitGeorgia Tate Rodemaker.

I don’t subscribe to 247Sports, but here is a link to Tate with a photo: Tate Rodemaker.

Pitt has also offered.
A local piece just done, which shows him at 6-3 and 185 lbs: 5 Questions for Tate.
Excited about the safety prospect!! 😉
With Andy Ludwig doing the recruiting? I don’t think so. I believe AL is going to recruit and build a great offense at Utah to match what we have seen from KW et alia for a decade.
Watch the Youtube video. The kid is amazing. I’d love to get him and a couple of this receivers to come to Utah.
Local paper write-up about one of Valdosta’s recent FB games: Rodemaker, Sherman shine as No. 3 Valdosta rolls past No. 8 Coffee.
Great name for an offensive lineman…
We all loved Erickson’s Florida ties. Ludwig spent a few years in the SEC and no doubt Vandy got a sit down with some of the top talent from the South based on academic reputation alone. Wouldn’t mind pulling a couple of O-linemen from down there.
I like it, 247 has him listed as a mid-range 3 star.
Rivals has him as a low-range 3-star kid. Pitt and Va Tech are his only other P5 offers as of right now.
6-4 is a pretty good stat for height, but 195-lbs….not so much. At 6-4, he should hovering around 210 at the low end. That said, between height and weight, I’ll take height. Because weight can be improved via S&C. Height…not so much.
Frosh weight != junior senior weight.
Pitt and V Tech both offered this week as well. He’s been flying under the radar, but P5 teams are just starting to take notice.
Rodemaker has a connection to South Florida’s 1st year OC Kerwin Bell, however, South Florida’s offense is terrible this season and their head coach, Charlie Strong, might be fired soon. Smart move by Andy. How long before Arizona State offers?
AZ state can’t get someone down there fast enough.
