The Ducks are a very good team, but there are weaknesses we can exploit. There are a couple of things that are good for us:
1. They are a run-first team. As the article says, that is their identity. Run defense is our strength.
2. With an injury to Pitman, they will have a “one” main receiver. That plays into our hands because of the best lockdown corner in the league.
3. They have a worse kicking game than us.
If we can take care of business without stubbing our toe with a loss in the next few weeks, an Oregon/Utah game could be one of the best matchups of the conference championship games. I would contend that the only possible better matchup would be Georgia/LSU.
First things first, we need to continue to play with a chip on our shoulder and beat up the Wildcats this weekend.
