This has been a rough week.
holiday, his deranged son, Samson, Puka and the LB.
Man.
Good things BYU lost its defense and doesn’t have a QB. But I am legitimately worried about our WR core. We really took some hits.
I don’t see it like that. I think things are fine. Kaho is a miss, but there are misses all the time. We need a WR anyway, and Jefferson’s slot will allow us to go after one aggressively. Bumphis is a win. Losing Samson is kind of neutral. If 2020 were a normal season, he would have graduated. BYU picking up the Nacuas is kinda meh. There’s nobody really there to throw to them, and their OL is greener than green. The Utes are fine.
Their Oline isn’t green.
They’re not exactly a veteran squad either. https://www.si.com/college/byu/news/byu-football-spring-roster-breakdown-offensive-line
I think we’ll see some of these changes clear the way for us to take the next step.
Holliday acknowledged he was burned out. He ultimately said Harlan and Whit did right by him, which snuffed out the noise. We replaced him with a young and hungry coach that will ramp up recruiting and coaching. Could be the next Kiel McDonald.
I love Samson. He’s a solid receiver and way too cool for Utah County. Hate to see him go and wish him the best, but at the same time maybe there’s a better talent behind him that now gets to play or play more than with Samson here.
In the interest of honesty it really hasn’t been a rough week. Many of those things shouldn’t change your mood at all.
You have a great life if that is the worst things from your week.
No kidding. The epidemic is on the decline… Things are looking up!
Just knowing there is a strong possibility I’ll be able to attend football games with my father in the expanded Rice-Eccles stadium and hoops in the Hunty with my father, mother, and a close friend is greatly uplifting to my spirits.
Add to that being able to spend much more time with our children and grandchildren.
I am definitely disappointed by the Nacua brothers news. When Puka is healthy he’s a beast.
But it’s too early to be concerned. I think we get a really highly regarded transfer WR before the season starts that will change our outlook. That’s what matters, those two can go to BYU, I just want another really good one on our roster. I would say stay tuned.
