I’m not over-reacting when I say that we aren’t going to contend for the league title this year. It could still be a winning season, but I now see at least 3 more losses, perhaps four or five. This team was greatly over-hyped, again.
The other sound we heard last night was a door opening. Stanford beat USC well enough to open things up in the south. UCLA and Colo have had games that make them look like contenders. ASU may or my not be. It looks like the possibility of a scramble. Can Utah take advantage? Can we fix the problems from last night and jump into the mix? There is a good chance that the south champ will be someone that can bounce back. I am hopeful.
