I’m going to guess #14. Pitt probably jumps to #13. Does Oregon fall below us? Does They So Poo Poo rise in a week they didn’t play? It would be hilarious to see us jump them. Provo would go full meltdown 🤣.
Oregon better fall below us. We are the league champions, and we are 60 points better over 2 games. As for TSPP, I’ve been telling zoobs on the internet since yesterday I think we’ll jump them. They keep saying “Why would we drop when we haven’t lost?” I just chuckle. Watch it happen.
My super scientific, completely unbiased, and 100% accurate rankings had Utah at 13 before the CCG’s. I don’t typically include those since the extra game provides such a huge boost.
1- Georgia
2- Alabama
3- Oklahoma State
4- Michigan
5- Baylor
6- Notre Dame
7- Ohio State
8- Cincinatti
9- Mississippi
10- Appalachian State
11- Wake Forest
12- Michigan State
13- Utah
14- Oregon
16- San Diego state
18- the parochial school
App State and Wake Forest lost so that would be two spots available. Without running the numbers, I don’t think Oklahoma State would fall far enough so Utah would probably be at 11 with Army/Navy still to be played.
Dominating the team who had been #3 twice should be worth something. We should finally get ranked above them Among the ranked teams above us there was not a bad loss aside from Oregon, so we may move to around #13-14. Which is around They So Poo-Poo’s ranking. ESPN Power Index which more highly rates recent performance (more easily forgives early losses) has the Utes at #12. That is probably the highest the Utes can get with 3 losses.
