First PAC12 championship in football

  Congrats to the team and coaches for a great year of entertaining football, capped off with the championship. Utah was one team that showed up big for our conference and gives it some credibility.
  
  I am 80 years old January 9, and graduated from the U in 1965. Lifelong Ute fan (yes during the days of Bill Marcroft and Paul James). A lot of Highs and some lows, but always supportive of the athletic teams. Wasn’t sure I was going to see a PAC12 championship, but it happened, and it is a great achievement. I don’t know if we will see another coach like Kyle Whittingham, but we are so lucky to have him, one of the great coaching hires in Utah history.
  
  Glad that the players seem to have survived the game without any great injury, especially Covey, Lloyd, and others with NFL aspirations. Hoping Rising fully recovers from his injuries.
  
  Now if the basketball program can get back to Majerus level competitiveness I will happy!

  Great post! Yesterday was a tremendous accomplishment for the program. It’s good to recognize the large number that were involved to get us to this point. We’re very fortunate to have many quality coaches, players, and assistants over the years. Happy early birthday!
