Will Diabate be an edge rusher instead of a LB?

      He started his career at Florida as an edge rusher.  We seem to have some quality athletes ready to play LB.  Edge rushing has not been great for the Utes since Anae left.  I have no clue, just a thought.  I’m sure Scalley will place him where he can do the most good.

      He’s listed on 247 at 215lbs, nowhere near heavy big enough to take on tackles play after play, game after game. Anae played at around 260 and still got shut down when he played against a tackle with good footwork like Sewell. Kirkland at UW also neutralized Anae in that 2019 game.

      Edit: the unpronounceable 4 letter word lists him at 227 which is better, but still not the size you would want for a full-time pass rusher.

        247 is listing his HS recruiting weight most likely. ESPN shows him at 227, still to light, but not 215 light.
