    “FOX 13 has learned the victims were football players at Hunter High School, one 14 years old, while the other was 15. The boy who was injured is 15 years old and currently in stable condition.”
    
    Sounds like the injured boy is stable which is good.

      All of them were kids, it’s just sad that it always has to resort to a gun. 2 kids lost their lives, I grew up in salt lake and lost a friend because the other guy couldn’t handle losing a fight. It’s a lot more common these days even since I’ve been in high school. We as a society have to do better.

        If they don’t think about the consequences you need to evaluate the consequences. Simple math, as consequences increase frequency of the negative outcome will decrease. There exist a level of consequence that will deliver an acceptable frequency of that behavior. There are also levels of consequence that will dramatically increase the frequency of the behavior. Determine the frequency that is acceptable then be disciplined enough to adjust consequences until we gain that desired frequency.

        And/or maybe having more guns than people in this country isn’t a great thing when it comes to gun deaths.
        
        Men/people have and will continue to make irrational, emotional, testosterone driven decisions, but we just happen to have access to an absurd amount of tools that can easily kill. Forget about fighting with fists.

        Or maybe having an entire culture that glorifies drugs, sex, murder and committing crimes isn’t a great thing… kids are trying to emulate the gangsters they see and think are cool.

        Why is it that the US is the only “civilized” country with this level of gun voilence? We must have more mentally ill, or more people in this country that glorifies “drugs, sex, and murder” …right?

        Thanks Rusty! I don’t watch MSNBC, but I’ll convey your info to my wife who was literally shot at by a deranged gunman in downtown SLC, right before that gunman killed an innocent woman that just returned from maternity leave. I feel so much better now.
