At what point does the NIL, during an economic downturn, become over saturated?

The U.S. treasury yield curve inverted this week (went negative / downward) and I think we’re in for “some” pain, especially for certain markets. Curious how this will affect, if any, the NIL craziness. I assume somewhat of a slow down will occur just as the NIL is getting going at Utah. I think the politicians will get it fixed, haha, just kidding.

The yield curve that has material economic meaning is currently steeper than what is was 6 months ago.

Plus the wealthy individuals that provide NIL, could give two sh!ts about the yield curve when talking about $1,000,000 or $500,000

Exactly, so the rich will get richer in this scenario and it will be tougher to compete for the smaller schools.

Mmmm the rich give large sums of money, likely to a kid that comes from middle to lower class economic class.

Some people can never be happy.

Do you get that I mean schools like USC will be able to give more than schools like Utah?

College football is recession-proof. Economic conditions won’t mean dick when it comes to NIL deals.
