INDIANAPOLIS – Utah’s athletics programs once again performed among the best in the nation in the both the single-year and multi-year Academic Progress Report (APR) released today by the NCAA for Division I schools. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation of all student-athletes on scholarship, and provides a measure of each team’s academic performance.
“Today’s release of the Academic Progress Rate report continues to tell the story of tremendous achievement in the classroom by our student-athletes, and the commitment by our coaches and staff to create the most supportive environment for academic success,” said Mark Harlan, Director of Athletics. “We are very proud of the way our student-athletes place the highest priority on succeeding academically while pursuing championships and representing the University of Utah in the most positive way in the community.”
