Looks like Mrs. Admin and I will have a free Saturday in Irving/Dallas in September. Any suggestions on what we can do, see, hear there?
I like the Arboretum and the grassy knoll/sixth floor museum.
Also go to deep ellum and get some pecan lodge (Or cattleack or terry blacks – Lots of good bbq available)
Eat BBQ until you go comatose.
Noted.
Drive to Fort Worth and go to the Stockyards. Restaurants and bars.
Regardless of whether or not you are a Cowboy fan, touring Cowboy Stadium is an amazing time. (90-120 minutes.) if you have more time, the Texas Ranger baseball park is a great venue to watch a ball game.
