KeymasterGame starts in a couple minutes. Should be an interesting game for many reasons. I watched UCLA once this season and they had no defense. My pick is Washington. Who you got?

ParticipantSame.

ParticipantWashington. Penix has been impressive to me. Thompson I read does not throw over 10 yards.

ParticipantPenix is huge. You really can appreciate the size of his work so far. He has good balls. Works hard and deep. Largely so far the player of year of the PAC.

ParticipantUW, they’re playing hard. Penix is a stud!

ParticipantUcla screwed up their first RedZone trip. But I like the second time. Feels like Washington couldn’t figure them out.

ParticipantUCLA is also looking good.

ParticipantMany will disagree here based on previous comments, but this is my take:
1. Utah does not play UW so having them win is not a benefit to us unless we face them in the pac 12 championship and beat them
2. We do play UCLA and need as many quality wins as possible if we want a chance at the playoff.
Yes, we are not playing at a playoff level right now. More to come there. But, we need each opponent to win as much as possible and beat them for quality wins. Why? People talk about a one loss P5 being a shoe in. Fact – it’s not. Saw a stat the other day that something like 86% of one loss P5 conference champ teams made the playoff. I don’t want any part of the 14%. Lets go Bruins.

2008 National Champ
ParticipantThat stat is based on 2014 when Baylor and TCU were considered Big 12 co-champs. That was the only year when there were “extra” 1 loss P5 conference champs. It can certainly happen again but right now it’s more of a sample size issue than a trend.

Extra Medium
ParticipantAt this point I’m only confident going against UA, CU, and Stanford. WSU, UCLA, OSU, USC, and Oregon will all be difficult games to win.

KeymasterWashington has thrown two picks now. UCLA separating on the scoreboard.

ParticipantPenix limping into this half a little flaccid.

ParticipantIt’s hard for me to concentrate on the game with so much crowd noise. Seriously an embarrassment….
-
Extra Medium
ParticipantThe only thing worse than Penix is throwing a “Jr.” after it

ParticipantBefore the game I would have said Washington 🤷♂️

ParticipantIt’s a sad day when you realize your Penix isn’t performing as well as it used to.

ParticipantTheu could use a dose of Rising up there.
