  First off congrats to Pedo St. better team won and all that.
  I don’t want to give them all the credit for how unmotivated the team was. I sort of ranted about this in chat a lot but the Vele weird reverse play seemed like the point where Utah couldn’t get Pedo on their heels. It was a point where Utah imploded.
  
  Don’t know what was seen in practice on that. Probably wasn’t covered well at all and Ludwig thought why not for Pedo st?? Obviously several other plays mattered more but it was a bad call. Utah passing plays on first down that didn’t include Kincaid were giant failures all season.
  
  Helluva shame for those seniors and another missed opportunity. Oregon and Florida rank as the worst losses this season for me.

  I don’t understand why Nate Johnson wasn’t running that trick play. He’s faster than Vele and throws the ball regularly. Also if you are practicing a play like that… Practice throwing it away once every 4 times just to get the thought process going.

    That would be a hard throw for a QB to make. You have to stop and go back. It was literally the dumbest fake reverse I have ever seen.

        First and ten as well. I think it might have worked on a second and short. But not first and ten.

      As I recall on the Replay the guy in the middle of the field was very very wide open though. Which I hope a QB hits.

        It’s a single read play. Wideout or whoever looks and then runs. But it is very hard because the throw is back to the left. He isn’t going to look right and throw to Yass unless that was the intent. Like I said single read throw.

  That gadget play was the key play of the game. It was a dumb call and it didn’t work and from that point on the mo was not in our favor.

    Since you didn’t see my full rant in chat. So some say well Vele should have thrown it into the stands he hesitated and took the loss. Ok if that is the logic you have a single read reverse throw with no intent of rushing it? Like you leave yourself no out other than to concede and go into 2nd and 10. Ok Ludwig thanks.

    Ludwig gonna Ludwig. I know a lot of people think he’s the sheet, but look at how bad Utah was in the 1st quarter this year. Those are all scripted plays which rarely produced anything. It wouldn’t be until Rising started audibling that the offense would get a spark.
