What happened to guys like Smith and Liljenquist?

  I know that there was a lot of hype for Tyrone Smith at cornerback, but it seems he hasn’t been mentioned at all as of late. What happened? He often isn’t even listed in the news articles that talk about the secondary.
  
  How about Karsen Liljenquist? He came in as a potential talent at LB, does anyone know if he has shown well?
  
  Any other players worth mentioning that seem to have disappeared since the start of fall camp?

  Smith has had some nagging injury according to the pay sites.

  Liljenquist – we are very solid at LB. we aren’t nearly as bad as a lot like to say we are. Nothing against Lil, but Luafatasaga, Tauteoli,Barton, Thompson, Ippolito, etc are just better.
  
  Smith – been hurt, others are playing and playing well. Isn’t Smith just a sophomore? His time will come.
