That was a pretty dirty hit to the head. It was one of those head butt extra unnecessary hits.

I can only think the first time he released he expected the RB to be back there. The second no explanation and it was sad.

How does Harding still have a job?

If ARod had like 7 chances Harding is allowed a second chance. I figured this year kicking and Oline play would be a huge weakness. Obviously got super lucky in kicking game. Oline had an EXPECTED rough year. Oline did improve as the year went on and I expect it to be a strength this season.

Harding wasn’t the guy missing/matadoring the blocks.

If you’re going to hang it on Harding I suppose you have to look at what he did in response to that.   Did Siale (87) improve his blocking execution in those situations in later games, and, if not, was he replaced by someone else?   This was early October.

I am more concerned with the coverage game since Jay Hill left. Feels like special teams has been steadily declining.

Special teams started with an inexperienced long snapper and struggled mightily. Things cleaned up after LS came back.  Punts, and punt returns were terrible vs WVU. Mitch was injured vs Washington yet they continued to use him against Colorado, and WVU and he wasn’t right. Hobbs, I have no idea what he was doing as a punt returner. He would constantly allow balls to bounce and create possession issues. Ball barely bouncing over Hughes shoulder after Hobbs bailed out…

If the PR or KR from the opposition gets it look out is all I am saying. Coverage has sucked.

Not just looking at problems from the TE, but Siale was a senior, there’s no excuse for him to whiff like that.. I’m looking at the multiple blockers not engaged with a pass rusher. This is just one quick video, examples of pathetic pass protection are all season long. Lowlights from WSU game are worse…

Ha ha. Harding is being looked at by NFL teams…and Utah fans bitch. Fans from the state of Utah are the dumbest fans…which isn’t a bad thing…UNLESS they don’t realize how dumb they are. Then they just suck.

I guess it’s the state’s culture. Be clueless, but claim knowledge from on high that supersedes all common sense.

We all wonder why so many kids don’t want to stay here and play ball. It’s not all of the problem, but a big problem is the fans. It’s shocking how many kids from this state talk about how negative the fans are, how they don’t think the fans will support them and that is one of the reasons why they leave.

But if you are questioning Harding or Whitt or Scalley right now…you are a dumb motherf**ker. And that’s being nice.

The tone and way you phrased this reply says more about you as a person than anything about Utah fans.

Go back to being delusional about all things Utah football and generating excuses why it didn’t happen.  Sticking to being a positive upbeat person is better than a c**t.

I’ve been quiet on the board lately, but couldn’t ignore that awful post. I enjoy your posts 90% of the time, but that was just unwarranted and full of hyperbole. Hope you are able to take care of your personal issues.

I’ll just leave this right here…

              Utah

               4

He’s a three star because of lack of top end speed. Other than that, he’s an incredible back. We will love him.

              Lionheart

               9

I Couldn’t help but chime in on Devin Brumfield. I continue to find it comical that people still question how special this kid is. He is a 4 year starter in Louisiana’s highest classification and just helped lead his team to a 12-1 record. In his 46 career games, he has gone over 100 yards 37 times. In those 46 games, he AVERAGED 143 yards per game. In all, he rushed for over 6,500 yards with 80 tds. Brumfield rushed for 282 yards and 4 touchdowns in his final game which was in the state quarterfinals. He is statistically among the greatest running backs in the history of Louisiana high school football. Pretty impressive for a guy that lacks “elite speed,” as some of you claim. As far as power, he had a 550 lb squat and 385 lb bench. And as his coach, I can tell you he’s an even better person and teammate, than he is a player. Devin Brumfield is the real deal, and will be a great asset to whichever school he decides to go to.

And to put the haters minds at ease, this is him at 22 mph on the super treadmill. https://mobile.twitter.com/brumfield_devin/status/699702924046397440/video/1
