Is a disappointment that more LDS youth don’t care that much about reppin the Y,
or contributing more to the overall cause of putting the Church’s school in a stronger position athletically. The U of Washington? Sure, they’ve been strong for a few years now, but it is not Alabama.
Sports aside, many of the younger generations are such a disappointment when it comes to being so self centered and all about themselves…
so basically, kids that choose not to go to BYU aren’t doing it because it’s a smarter choice… They are doing it because they are selfish mellenials that are destined for inactivity.
There are many, many reasons for active LDS Ute fans to dislike BYU-P and BYU-P fans. Honestly, for me, the whole “it’s a sin to not rep the church by not going to BYU-P” idea doesn’t even crack the top 50.
Sigh* i swear 90% of the CB population are a bunch of old farts that just reminise on the old days when BYU sports was actually relevant. I will admit i do go there from time to time when I’ve had a real horrible day because I always get a laugh from their posts. usually my favorite has to do with them thinking they’ll actually have a successful football season this year. OR any post where they are realizing independancy was the wrong choice.
