  • For all the MDs on the board (actual or wannabe), how exactly is a doctor in LA making weekly assessments of Cam’s readiness to play? Seems like from one week to the next he would have almost no new information w/o some kind of examination and would be completely dependent on what Cam reports. Unless they’re doing weekly MRIs and sending him the…[Read more]

  • Also, when they have called runs for NJ, they have been the most ridiculous calls. Hey Nate, you’re super fast right? So just snap the ball, pause for a second, then run straight at the line and we’ll hope for the best! They’ve done a terrible job with the play calling with designed runs and have set him up for failure 100% (not saying they’re…[Read more]

Problem I have with this take is that, as we had demonstrated again last night, it turns out the QB position is pretty important in football (whodathunk, right?) and while we’ve definitely been bitten by the injury bug, we *knew* Cam was injured and might not be back in time (or at all). And the “Plan B” the coaches had prepared has been…[Read more]

I agree with you. Cam has been a great QB for us but it’s definitely time to s**t or get off the pot. And it’s definitely on the coaches for not having a better Plan B when it was always iffy that Cam would be ready to play, even if he wanted to. Which is really too bad because we have so many other pieces this year that we haven’t in the past.

  • I also think it wasn’t PI. Battle had his head turned looking at the ball the entire time. Was their contact? Yes, absolutely, but he is allowed to make a play for the ball just as well as the receiver is.

Also, I was sitting right behind Battle’s parents. They were pretty relieved about the no-call after he let the previous one over his head…[Read more]

  • another vote for the old threaded view. But I’ll survive with the current way as well 🙂

I’m way late replying, but I vote for how you’ve had it for years. I really like seeing all the posts w/o having to click on individual thread topics, even if the full thread do load slower. Thanks for all your work!

  • Who was the last running back that anyone can remember that had the breakaway speed of Joe Williams?  We have had some great backs at Utah who racked up some major rushing yards, but it was generally in smaller chunks.  I love seeing Joe outrun DBs in a footrace once he gets into the secondary.  When’s the last time we saw that at Utah?  I…[Read more]
