  team down. The article that was posted talked about first-hand knowledge that they didn’t want to spread and will come out later this season. Huntley has also posted recently about “battling some demons.” I don’t want to speculate on what is going on, but sounds like his head may be somewhere else.
  
  This would beg the question; if the coaches are aware, why haven’t they replaced him until he gets his stuff in order. Really hard decision I am sure, but I found it interesting.

  Link??? Until something is posted from a legitimate news source, I’m suspicious. This sounds like something one would read on Cougarboard to rile up the fanbase into spreading false rumors and speculation.
  
  Regardless, even if such rumors were true, I’d prefer it be managed internally so as to reduce stress and harm to the student. Provide him/her with all the help he/she needs to overcome whatever trial they are facing. Give them encouragement and support to help them overcome. We all face trials, but it’s how we tackle those times that create growth and strength to overcome harder trials in the future.

      I didn’t see anything like that on UteZone. Are there other subscription sites? I ran through the message board, and only saw one thread mentioning anything like this, and it was all smoke.

    St George Ute. The source that posted on Utenation is very very very well connected to the program. If he brought it up it’s almost certainly true.
    
    All that has been said is his actions and attitude off the field are detrimental to the team.

      Interesting to say the least. If true, then the coaches should address it with him directly, bench him if he doesn’t straighten up, but provide support for him and an opportunity to EARN back his spot if/when he corrects his actions/attitude.
      
      Ultimately, team first.

  I hope he gets help with whatever he may be struggling with.
  
  With that being said if you are in the way you need to step aside or the coaches need to do something. At this point in the season you have zero margin for error. Oregon is a third loss I think no matter what. You have a chance in each of the remaining games to win. What I mean by chance is not Utah is favored but that there are chances in every game.
