ESPN: The most dynamic game-breaker on each Top 25 team

Dixon made an interesting combination with Utah’s leading receiver, Britain Covey, because he provides more of deep threat. As a redshirt freshman in 2018, Dixon ranked second in the Pac-12 in yards per catch (18.4), finishing with 32 receptions for 589 yards. It was an encouraging debut season for Dixon, but the next step will to see him find ways to get into the end zone. Despite the explosiveness he showed, Dixon scored only two touchdowns. — Bonagura

Covey when he is 100% healthy would be in the conversation.

Covey took a beating last season. I would be pleasantly surprised if he plays next season. Dixon is a gamer. Hopefully 2-3 of the young guys step up, Enis, Thompson, Boyd, maybe Periman etc. If Nacua and Simpkins see the field in the Fall it will be an indication the younger guys have not progressed to the next level. Utah will need to pass the ball effectively to achieve the lofty predictions.

Huntley could never find Dixon consistently it felt like. Covey was most definitely his crutch.

I am hoping for Moss. Moss has an insane year I smell 🌹 🌹

Not without an NFL capable QB. Huntley is dynamic, but won’t sniff an NFL roster as QB.

Uhhh ok I guess. I would say it depends on the Oline. Plenty of dynamic runners have had success without an nfl level qb. Stanford being a quick example.

Booker, Joe Williams, Jamaal Williams, John White, etc.

Yeah I didn’t want to offer the obvious answer on this. Utah is at its best when they protect the ball, chew the clock and rush the ball.

Your not winning the Rose Bowl without an NFL capable QB. Exact reason why Utah wasn’t in the Rose Bowl 2015, 2016… You can win 8-9 games with a good RB, but if the QB can’t keep a defense honest Rose’s won’t get a sniff from Utah… But good luck.

They very nearly already went to the Rose Bowl doofus with a backup QB and RB. Good hell why are you a fan?
