I think Utah’s current coaching situation could be unappealing for a lot of coordinators. If Whitt is our HC, it doesn’t matter who we hire as OC. We know what our offense will look like.

I have sometimes wondered if NIL has made players a little lazy. Since they are getting paid they don’t have the hunger to do all the little things outside of practice like mobility or flexibility work. I am old and know that is good for me and I don’t do it as often as I should.

That’s no bueno.

Whoever they hire just needs to improve QB play lol it shouldn’t be that hard after what we’ve witnessed the last 2 years. They also need to act quickly due to signing day coming up…so some urgency would be nice.

I heard from a former coach that the strength coach is to old school and doesn’t use flexibility training enough.

They addressed that this last offseason.

A strength trainer I know who used to be a trainer in CFB told me his theory is that the players aren’t taking care of themselves outside of practice and times with the team.
