I believe you’re right. I think that Whitt is starting to understand that, no matter how much he likes certain coaches, he’s starting to get to the point where it’s a case of “it’s you and me until it’s you or me.”

I assume a lot of people are fading that undefeated record. 3 points against 4-4 Utah, 2.5 at home against 3-6 Kansas. If Vegas set those lines like they would for any other P4 undefeated, they probably couldn’t get any money on the parochial school side.

No reason Utah can’t have a resurgent season next year. Whether Whitt or Morgan is the coach the defense can be counted on.

Back in 2004 and 2008, we finished the regular season against BYU both years. At that point most Utah fans were completely focused on the Fiesta and Sugar Bowls.
