You’re lucky you’ve only had a BB game and FB game to change your way of thinking. The 70s and 80s were unbearable. It’s calmed down since we joined pac 12 and they went independent. “They’re back” describes it to a tee. It will get worse.

The funny thing is that if they lose against Kansas, a classic trap game because they’re away to ASU is next week and they’ve just expended a massive amount of psychic energy in the game versus Utah, it wouldn’t surprise me to see them lose every remaining game in their schedule.

What’s funny about this is that visiting fans can’t get alcohol, and yet BYU fans are probably telling them in advance that Ute fans will throw beer on them!

It’s not coping. It’s showing all the overtly negative Nellie’s that things can change quickly. I understand why we are here and the mistakes made. I’m a realist but also try to keep some rational optimism.

If that’s the case, we can probably expect a few bogus flags this weekend. Kind of glad that personal requirements will keep me from watching the game.

Based on the selection criteria the Big 12 still seems like the best path to the CFP for Utah right now. I have confidence that things will be righted. The defense is still a top in the country and Utah just needs an average offense to be very competitive.
