honestly if the shoe was on the other foot we’d say – dang thats unfortunate for byu but we’ll take it. Not get on some high horse non-stop justifying it as ‘textbook’ or whatever ish they are doing.

Or just maybe we’d be saying – dang we’re supposed to be a top 10 team right now and got lucky breaks to beat a team having an all time down year.

That shows a lot of character and super cool to read. Hopefully that attitude permeates the team and someway, somehow find a win in the next three games.

I’ve said several times now… More discussion should be had about the fact that Utah didn’t score in the 2nd half and less about the calls. Had the Utes even scored a weeny little field goal at any point in the 2nd half that may have been enough to win the game.

That’s the likely scenario anyway.

Offense has always been our downfall. The Huntley – Cam teams were great offensively because of their ability to run and pick up first downs. They were great leaders also.

Good teams are built to stop the run. Nick Saban said you can’t win without big plays. He adapted and became a big play offense.

I’ve never once started a thread about the call. I’ve only responded to Utah fans. And I’ve been on Ute Hub for 3+ years even when you guys were at your most successful. I feel like I’ve earned my right to comment on things that I disagree with. And plus I don’t hate Utah. I root for them whenever they’re not playing BYU.

This is a message board brotha and it’s fun to debate about it. That’s what message boards are for. The penalty is just another one of those things in the rivalry that is fun to talk about. If you don’t want to debate it, simply don’t comment on it. But it’s not childish behavior, it’s just a message board.

Whittingham sounds pretty down in this. It is a reminder that as frustrated as we are on the season none of our frustration can compare to his.
