Possibly they agreed that as a unit, they are playing well below their talent and abilities and it’s time they stopped feeling sorry for themselves about injuries, tough decisions by the officials, and results just not going as we expected heading into the season, and that it is time to buckle up and play harder and better.

The biggest thing is finding a way to handle blitzes with Wilson as QB. I think a big part of why they let Rising play is because he is great at making opposing teams pay for being too aggressive. I disagree. The second the head coach starts listening to fans on how to run his team, he’s done. You pay the guy 7 MM per to know better than that.

appears IW is our starting this week and going forward unless something changes now (per the announcement). I wrote after the game “words are being exchanged as we speak”

Kyle announced it earlier today but that team was never going to really play with Cam at the helm ever again. I’d be interested to know what demands the players will be making this week and how the coaches respond.

Of course it is. It would be totally against human nature if it didn’t. I mean, in Rising you have a guy that receives more NIL than the rest of the team put together yet he’s clearly not fit to play college football and hasn’t been for almost two years. These young adults would have to be saints to not let something like that affect them.

My hope is he sits out until the BYU game and comes back for a last hooray.

Nope. Let him walk with the other seniors before Iowa State. Give him a couple of plays in the 2nd quarter so that he can walk off the field to thunderous applause for everything he did for the program. And let him ride off into the sunset on Whitt’s Harley.

You know…I’m afraid that it might be a sparse crowd. It’s projected to be cold and the game probably won’t end until after midnight. Either way, it wouldn’t surprise me if people started departing after halftime.
