#37 Faysal Aden, RS Sophomore RB, 5-8 208
Faysal (face-all) is a great hard work and success story. His parents are refugees from Kenya, where Faysal was born. He was raised in SLC with 7 siblings and went to West High. At West he was team captain, and logged 1026 all-purpose yards as a senior, 167 carries for 793 yds and 16 catches for 233 yds. 11 TDs, 8 by ground, 3 by air. Faysel also competed in basketball and track at West. He was a walk-on in 2019 (redshirt year) and saw some time on special teams in 2021. He scored one of the 3 TDs for the Red Team in the 2021 Spring game. Meanwhile he’s been succeeding in the classroom, Pac-12 Honor Roll last two years studying health and kinesiology. May see more special teams playing time in 2022; seems to have some quickness and shiftiness like Covey had.
