Scout247 show Brandon Rose has commited to UTAH!!!!!
2 QB’s, both of which have huge potential.
I friggin love being a Ute.
Fantastic news!!!
We’re making damn sure we don’t get caught with out pants down in terms of having QB’s on the roster.
With as many young QBs that we have in the system – I gotta believe some may be moved to other positions like Hansen, Kruger, et al.
I am glad we are finding some solid talent!
Go Utes!!!
Next fall, the QB battle should be between:
4* Cam Rising (RS-SO due to COVID?)
4* JaQuinden Jackson (RS-FR due to COVID?)
4* Peter Costelli (True SO)
4* Nate Johnson (True FR)
3* Brandon Rose (True FR)
Not sure I have their eligibility all correct but this should be incredible. This is how blue bloods do it.

Rising will be a junior.
Rising has already been in college 4 years (redshirt and covid used up) so is a Junior in 2021. 2022 would be his last year to play unless he was able to get a waiver for an extra injury year.
Costelli and Jackson are both True Freshman in 2021. As long as neither plays in more than 4 games, 2022 would be RS-Freshman for both.
From the outside looking in, 4 Freshman at a position where only one can be on the field at a time doesn’t seem like great roster management. We’ll have to see how things play out the rest of the year to get a better idea if all 4 will on the team in 2022.
Rising is a Sophomore this year.
Damn, always check your math.,, 1 year at Texas, 1 year sitting out as a transfer, 6 passes against SC. I’d claim that covid made it seem like he’s been in SLC for 3 years but I blew it.
I’ll reserve my excitment until the sign and are on campus.
Is he any good?
Yes
Nice!
