Kickers and snappers are rated differently. A 5 star K/LS is usually a kid that is ready to play and perform in a P5 game as a freshman. They’re evaluated by companies usually ran by former college/ NFL specialist that can really dissect a specialist. If he’s on scholarship he’ll probably be a high 2 star or low 3 star in 247 or rivals

He’s legit I promise of course I’m biased 😉 He turned down full-ride offers to a Big12 school and Navy to stay in the Pac 12. He’s a Linebacker at heart and can get downfield. He’s #1 in California #5 Nationally was #2 until a few months ago.
