After seeing how unpopular my thinking was before, I just want to clarify that I was misunderstood.  I had said:

“The problem with the thumbs up and down is that it reduces the likelihood that people will post.  If you compare Utehub to Cougarboard, Cougarboard is more interesting because there is more posting/ more user content.” 

 

But I just had mistyped. I really had meant to say:

“The problem with the thumbs up and down is that it reduces the likelihood that people will post.  If you compare Utehub to Cougarboard, Cougarboard is more “UN”interesting because there is more posting/ more user content.”

So, you can see that you all reacted to a misunderstanding. Go ahead and correct your feedback based on what I actually meant.
