Yup. He got snubbed this round. It sucks. I’m upset for him and his family. He was objectively better than several CBs who got taken before him.

one more twist of the knife of this season. The way that played out was painful. I have complete faith that he will make a few of those teams re-evaluate where they went wrong.

But man….this was his last box to check…he drilled them all. Unfortunately he couldnt control his shoulder giving out on him multiple times.

I wonder if the shoulder hurt him in terms of the draft.

Exactly. Just because media talking heads have him rated higher than others that doesn’t mean scouts, coaches and GM’s do. It’s possible that they saw something in his medical evaluations that raised some red flags. That being said, he will be drafted.

Maybe that’s an indictment of the rating systems.   

His times for shuttle and 3-cone drill at the Combine were a bit sub-par … maybe those held him back from 1st round status.  Good raw speed but a bit off in agility measurables?
