  Probably Jackson Bowers from BYU. Utah recruited him before he went to BYU and now he is in the portal.

    I’ll pass on Bear Tenney. Before he committed to Nebraska he was a Utah lock but Utah pulled their scholarship offer because of a sexual assault crime he committed.

      Wonder why Utah would pull his offer and then give it back. Are we just more desperate than before? Hopefully there’s more to it than that.

        The story that I’ve heard is that he forced a girl to give him oral sex in a bathroom as well as uncomfortably touching another girl who happened to be a Lone Peak coaches daughter. Considering he isn’t taking a scholarship anywhere and I’ve heard this story from plenty of people there’s enough substance behind it for me to believe it.

        Yeah, unless there’s official charges, it can be difficult to find anything. In my super sleuth technology, aka Google, only things I found were message board chatter, like what’s going on here.

        Exactly, nobody goes from a scholarship at Nebraska to Walk on at Utah without something significant happening

        I wasn’t doubting. I was just saying that as an example of why people can’t find anything, and I totally didn’t think about the age factor. Guy, at my work, was arrested last week, and HR asked for prior to respect his privacy, but of course, as soon as he was booked and everything filed, someone found it online and shared it.

        Unless the laws are different in Utah, wouldn’t the information your are trying to find be under seal since he would have been a juvenile at the time?

  Recruited by a lot of big programs, e.g., Ohio State, Texas, Florida, Oregon, but “only” a 3-star. Wonder why then all the attention??? Must have something real good that they all see.
