Doesn’t matter now, but if they’d done it after the Pac12 CCG, it may have looked like they were avoiding Utah. And honestly after last year and last night who can blame them. OSU you’re welcome, I think we would have embarrassed them this year in the Rose Bowl. Now they can win/lose a CFP game and still save face.

Odd that Alabama and OSU can’t make it to their CCG, take a week off and benefit from higher ranked teams in other conferences loosing in their CCG.
