Always nice to beat tds-P at anything!
Zoob coach said they were the better team.
“Stranded runners were an unfortunate trend for BYU, which collected seven hits and six walks, but left 11 runners. That number — 11 runners left on base — prompted Cougars coach Gordon Eakin to say he thought his team had outplayed the Utes.”
There must be something in their DNA that doesn’t allow them to say we lost in a close, hard fought game.
Based just on your posting, I think you and Zoob’s coach are both correct. Unless something strange happens, we’ll likely see the Zoobs again in the Regional Championship. Our season record is now 1-1, and both teams won by 1 run, at home. Let’s see what happens in the 3rd game.
We will beat them if we face them again. They’ve thrown their best at us and went a respectable 1-1. Now their lack of depth will show through.
You wanna edit your post? 😜
No need. I wrote “let’s see what happens”, and am very happy to see a spankin’ happened. 🙂
Very true.
BYU softball is good team. No doubt. But their 3rd game in 24 hours… ? Not to mention, Bull (BYU lead Pitcher) is the only real pitching threat. Utah is headed for Super Regionals.
We should just face it. We are pwnd.
nit-picking, but if you’re calling them tds-P, does that mean their other campuses are tun-I and tow-H?
(team-down-south, team-up-north, and team-out-west)
Good point. But you forgot the all important F to proceed the TDS. You need as many distinguishing qualifiers for those douche canoes.
And the P following. For whatever reason, that P drives them crazy.
