Remember a few years ago when Bowen decided not play at the last minute

We thought we were in big trouble because we were thin at LB.  Look back at what happened and where we are at today.  Lloyd entered the starting lineup and now is one of the top linebackers in the conference if not the nation.

In 1993 the Utes had a ton of injuries.  This gave many kids a chance to play.  1994 was the best season ever (to that date).

Sometimes, bad things can lead to great things.

No, I was just pointing this out because Lloyd is such a stud.  But, I am sure there will be opportunities again this year.

I heard an interview with Stevenson Sylvester today. It was pretty funny, he talked about how he was happy to see Lloyd ditched the kneck roll. 

Bill Riley then reminds him Kyle wore a kneck roll as a LB in the 80s. Funny exchange.

I think Sly will be a great sideline reporter.
