Planning to take my boys to the Washington game next month. Looking at seats in section 102 and 103 (Utah’s ticket allotment is in section 101) but wondered if anyone has been to a game there and sat in that area. Trying to decide how many rows up I should go so that I can see the opposite end of the field. There are some seats on row 14 and 24 of section 102 I’m looking at. Several more at the same or lower price on row 2-4 but I don’t think we’ll see the other end of the field from that low.
I sat in either 103 or 104, kind of midways up from the field and thought the view was fantastic! Row 14 would be about where we were sitting. Not sure about visibility in the lower rows.
Husky stadium is beautiful – right on the water – bring a raincoat!!
Thanks!
Always bring a raincoat.
As the Seattle henchmen say, “Leave the gun, take the raincoat.”
It rained during the 2017 game when I was up there, but Husky Stadium has large overhangs, so unless the wind is blowing the rain sideways, you really don’t need a raincoat.
I was at the 2015 game and we were absolutely drenched by the end. Our exit strategy after the game was to walk across the U bridge into Eastlake to a pub called the Zoo where we could wait out the traffic.
We had family come to town for the 2015 game. Rather than buy tickets through the U we got them on the secondary market (Ticketmaster I think?). We were 3rd row 50 yard line on the West side. Great seats, and iirc they were cheaper than from the U ticket office.
This year may be different though since both teams are good.
Where are you planning to stay? Getting out of the area can be a challenge after the game. People have been reporting 1 hour plus wait times to get on the Link light rail, for example. And Uber/Lyft are slow as well.
