  USC gets the win, but Washington State looks for real and that game next week is looking really tough. Wouldn’t be surprised if Wazzu is more than a touchdown favorite next week.

  Agreed. Wazzu looked really good. Can you imagine if Utah had Wazzu’s offense paired with our defense? Their QB went through progressions, made tough throws, hung in the pocket; the receivers caught *most* everything; the RBs ran tough when called.

    I had the same thought a week or two ago. How is it that wazzu reloads at quarterback every year?
    
    I think their qb now is a g5 transfer and is playing well.
    
    The consensus was OC (Leach) continuity. I think that’s a lot of it, but I also think maybe we’re missing something in recruiting. We haven’t had what you described in years.

      I don’t think it’s lack of talent. It’s the lack of understanding what to do with the talent.
      
      Why is Utah good at reloading on defense? Because kwhitt understands what to do on defense. Pretty simple.

  FYI, Jay tufele from USC blocked that kick.
  
  We need more wins to get guys like Jay to land at Utah.
