Nothing official yet.
If true that sucks. I was hoping to see a good game with both teams at or near full strength. That means Beavers without starting QB, star RB, excellent LB. Plus more.
Even for something as relatively insignificant as NCAA football, vaccine can’t get here soon enough.
College football is a low priority for the vaccine. It will help ensure we play in 2021 uninterrupted
Agreed. I want a win, but not this way.
Looks fairly official.
Vegas knew, the line was Utah -11.5 this morning.
These games kind of scare me. We’re going to be playing a team with nothing to lose that can throw caution to the wind. We’re sort of desperate for a win and could play a little tight. We better win this one…
If anybody’s got nothing lose here it is our loveable band of underachievers in exhibition 3 of 4. I know this is true because Facebook has told me so. haha
* 3 of 5 (maybe 6?)
I have no confidence that game “5” will survive the virus.
Don’t you dare put that bad juju out there
I suppose ignorance is bliss. Over here in reality Gavin Newsome is a week away from shutting down 1/4 of the conference and the Purple hair in Oregon will quickly follow.
Teams are already adjusting with Cali teams relocating. I think the Utes get 5 conference games this season and who knows about a bowl game.
I will take all the exhibition ball I can get.
Stanford isn’t coming home for a few weeks. They’ve been practicing in Seattle and will go to Oregon after tonight. I assume they’ll go wherever they’re next opponent is located as long as it’s not UCLA. The other three schools will be in the same boat after this weekend. Although they won’t be playing any home games, they’ll still be playing.
Do you think the board of regents and AD’s will keep them on the road for “game 7” or call it a season in light of the total collapse of the bowl system this year? Actual question not a debate point.
I think they’ll let them play. I couldn’t see them telling them to pack it up. But this California so anything is possible.
What has Utah got to lose? The score is even there.
Their 4-game losing streak.
For some reason I just hardly care about wins and losses right now. I’m in the minority for sure I guess. I’m just confident things will work themselves out. I’m still in the mode of looking at these like they are NFL preseason games. No championship to play for, no bowl games to play for really. I just want to see the team getting better. It would be nice if they could win this against a severely depleted OST team. I’m just happy to see some ute football is all.
I want to agree with you but there is something to winning the helps the players psyche. If they get used to losing, it can be hard to turn that around. They need to start winning. They dont have to win them all, but they definitely can’t lose them all.
The goggles I look through are shaded pretty deeply red, but in my opinion, Utah should NEVER lose four games in a row. Ever.
I’m not speaking for anybody but myself. I am quite sure the players and coaches want to win. Tonight is a good opportunity to notch the W.
I hear you, man. This season means ZERO in the grand scheme of things. I would just like to go into next year having broken this little losing habit we’ve developed. That’s all.
Yes. I’ve been saying this same thing. That’s my fear.
For some reason I’m a glass half full guy this year. Everything will be OK man.
