It occurred to me that the most important game for Utah football this week may not be the one played in Provo.
Stanford came out looking very good, while USC appears vulnerable. If Stanford can come away with a win over the Trojans it could dramatically influence the South race. At the very least it would give Utah a one loss buffer, with the game in the Coliseum being the deciding factor.
USC is great, no doubt. But they aren’t invincible. Darnold has issues as well. There is a reason why the Wyoming kid is projected #1 overall and not Darnold. He’s inaccurate deep, throws off his back foot and too careless with the ball.
That being said, Rosen will go #1 if he stays healthy. He’s amazing.
