What’s an ideal rotation in college basketball these days?

I’d say probably eight. One sub for each position group. All depends on the roster.

That sounds about right to me.  Last year we had eight guys average 15 minutes or more per game.  Two others played more sparingly (Thioune and Van Kommen).  

Seven of our eight rotation guys are back next season and we’re adding three guys who we should expect to play at least 15 minutes per game.  I predict everyone’s minutes will drop . . . with each of the guards (except probably Rylan) losing more minutes than the forwards.  But that’s just a guess.

Ideal would be 10, but realistic would be 8.
