KW grinded through some ups and downs over the years building up the program. Good to see him at peace, enjoying the fruits of his labor. You can see in his demeanor this team is very special to him, way beyond football.

Seems the tragic loss of Ty and Aaron put into perspective how important the compassionate, human side of his leadership and how much impact he has on these young men. There are many stories from players how KW forever changed their lives in a positive way. I get the impression he still has work to do in making a difference for his Utah football family. Utah football is on the verge of moving to the next level and KW knows it and wants to make it happen. As a fan, I hope KW gets this win on Friday for all the work he’s done along with his coaches and players.

Even Samson Nacua came back after posting some negative stuff about the Utes.  He said, “Coach Whittingham saved my life …”

Really makes his decision to transfer that much more of a head scratcher.
