When I lived in York, PA the LDS Ward i was in had more Ute fans than BYU. Only place I’ve ever lived where that was the case.

Giddy up. Let’s go! Boy, our new offense better have success with the WR’s. We can’t afford to be lackluster and risk losing either these guys or potential transfers. We’ve been mediocre at WR for a long time (not for lack of talent mind you) and the reputation we have needs to change asap.

I don’t understand why you’d be shocked, BYU his far more orthodox than they used to be and they uphold the honor code. A decade ago their BBall player got kicked out of school because of honor code violations. Ive seen nothing that suggests BYU would sweep it under the rug with the way the school has been run.

I kinda view the mountain states as one big related geography, even though there are sub regions within. Usually when im chatting with my Euro colleagues, I say the mountain states in the western US or something.

If i were to move there, I’d aim for the Paradise Valley area, not sure i could afford it yet, but I love it. It is alone of the rich rich area.

They are trying to create something that will get the maximum number of viewers. If casual fans and fans of teams outside those conferences stopped watching them, it would make an impact. But it won’t happen.
