It remains to be seen whether Ganther has it or not. Kind of seems like not at this point, but the jury is still out on most of his guys. Give him another year to figure it out.

My post wasn’t about the staff’s ability to pull rabbits out of the hat and cobble together serviceable RB rooms. My post was about HS RB recruiting failures. I’m not arguing that our running game has been bad (it has been good enough, but not much beyond that). I’m simply stating that I think it is crazy that we haven’t done a better job of…[Read more]

NOTE: This is not about Ganther as he is new and his guys are all far too young to judge.
I’ve been thinking about this for a couple of years now, and a recent post about whether our reputation for player development is legit got me thinking. Bernard is BY FAR our best RB recruited out of high school currently on the team, and he was recruited in…[Read more]

Yeah, but I think they would all trade fan empathy for the $ in a heartbeat. They would be stupid not to.

Me not feeling bad doesn’t mean I wish injury on him, or that I don’t care that he is hurt. I just look at things differently. On the whole, he is a fortunate guy.

The Two Point Conversion to win it against USC. No question.

It’s not that the emotions don’t matter, it’s that EVERYONE deals with hard things every day, and $ makes it significantly easier to deal with those emotions positively.
I don’t know if this is true (for me) but it feels like I, personally, have a limited amount of give-a-shit in me, and I choose not to use it on people who are, in view of the…[Read more]

Ok… I don’t disagree with anything you said. I said I don’t feel bad for him. That doesn’t mean I have negative feelings for him or anything of the sort. As far as his dreams coming to an end goes, he got to live out his dreams a lot longer than most. He also got paid a bunch to do it (and even more not to do it).
All things considered, he is a…[Read more]

I’ve made my stance on professional athletes and injuries known on here a few times before.
I feel bad for injured college players that don’t get NIL. I do not feel bad for people that make a shitton of money for playing a GAME. Injuries are part of the risk you take on in exchange for the ridiculous amount of money. I would trade my fin…[Read more]

who cares? We are 1-2 in a conference we were supposed to dominate, and we haven’t played the best teams in the conference yet.

play calling was not the problem tonight. If Rising could throw the ball we would have won.

LOL… go to bed dude. He isn’t going to get fired. I agree he needs to be done coaching, but he won’t get fired, and firing him won’t do any good anyway.
He definitely needs to be shown the door at the end of this two year train wreck though.

after the second Rose Bowl game, would you part ways with Cam Rising?
After that game I suggested here that I was kinda ready to move on from Rising and Co., and I got reemed (not unusual for me, LOL).
In hindsight, in my opinion, that probably would have been better for the team. Keeping him around has stunted our growth as a team (unless you…[Read more]

No clipboard, and this one had what appeared to be 10 fully healthy fingers. I’m beginning to doubt whether it was a Cam Rising or maybe it was the Cam Rising’s cousin, the stay-at-home dad.

I could have sworn I saw a Cam Rising here on the east coast, it was a member of the clean-shaven sub-species that also appears to be a slightly slimmer. though. It had the sweater, the baseball-style hat, and the long dark hair, but no visible mustache.
It was out in a grassy field near my home. I had no idea that Cam Risings existed this far east.
