I say this is the second biggest game of the last 10 years. The biggest was last December when a win over Washington would have earned us a trip to the Rose Bowl — no ifs, ands or buts.

Starting fast will be huge. This is where we lost the USC game. The Trojans scored touchdowns the first two times they touched the ball. After we fell behind 14-7, we outplayed them. But letting them get off to a good start at home kept the crowd into the game and gave the Trojans the confidence to pull out the upset.

We need to get out to a fast start and sew seeds of doubt in the Huskies and their fans.

Crazily, there are only two teams in the South that are guaranteed to go to the PAC-12 title game if they win out — and neither one is No. 9 in the nation Utah.

USC controls its own destiny, as most of you know, but so does UCLA. Yeah, the Bruins already have two league losses, but if they win out they will be 7-2 in conference games and will hold the tie breaker over both us and USC.

Sucks for Rising, but as long as both Huntley and/or Shelley stay healthy this season he wouldn’t have seen the field this year anyway (except for maybe extreme garbage time). Either way, Rising was going to be a redshirt sophomore prior to the 2020 season and trying to beat out redshirt junior Shelley for the starting job.

The big drawback will be if both Huntley and Shelley get hurt this season.

Unfortunately, that district has been gerrymandered to the point that a Dem can’t win. It’s simply impossible.

What could happen, however, is Chaffetz could get beat in a primary if someone popular — say one of Mitt’s sons or Evan McMullin — ran against him.

Yes, it was overachieving in the big scheme of things. But after the Utes went on the road and beat the Washington schools by like 70 combined points and played UCLA to the wire, local expectations grew. Most of us thought we could be an NCAA tournament team.

The losses at Cal, Stanford and especially Oregon State — along with the too-close-for-comfort home win against WSU proved we had waaaay more issues than we thought in January. We are an NIT team, which is ok for a rebuilding year. Still, it’s frustrating when you know that with just a couple more wins we’d be an NCAA team.

That’s a silly idea, Tony — putting a wall around ice cream scoopers.

Don’t you know that ice cream is ordained of God and is part of EVERY ward activity. We even bless it so that it will “nourish and strengthen our bodies.”

Our religiouslature is just looking out for us. Can you imagine how bad life would be if a young 12-year-old deacon (who, of course, has more priesthood authority than the pope ever will) saw a beer being poured, let alone a drink being mixed? It could be catastrophic! That young man may even want to imbibe when he gets older. And drinking makes boys want to touch girls’ boobies — or worse, themselves. Or even worser, other boys.

We can’t have that happen! Thanks, Utah for keeping us safe!
