That’s awesome…congratulations!
From an older U alum (class of 1999)…I know you didn’t ask for advice, but I’m going to give some unsolicited anyway: Treasure your college experience. You’ll only have it once. And if you do it right, it will be one of the best chapters of your life.
You will get out of your U experience exactly what you put…[Read more]

I could watch Keita play basketball nonstop for the rest of my life and I would never get bored.

The same half that left our team.

Because half of every other team is gone too, that’s how.
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Portal Question – Eligibility in the forum Football 4 months ago
No. Among other rules, you have to be enrolled and taking at least 12 credit hours at the new school before you can play or practice with the team (that goes for every player, not just transfers). Since the earliest Carsen could enroll would be spring semester, he would not be eligible to participate in any team activities until January 2nd,…[Read more]
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Maybe we will see Deivon Smith in the forum Basketball (Men) 4 months, 1 week ago
Sorry to be the wet blanket…I doubt you’ll see him. NCAA bylaws state that if this temporary stay ends up getting reversed, teams that play with a player affected by the ruling will have to vacate any wins they pick up in the interim. That’s a risk you can’t take.
I don’t agree, just reporting the news.

There will never be anything funnier-looking than a bunch of 4’10” gymnasts walking out with a bunch of 6’10” basketball players.

Saw on Twitter that Keba has a PER of 40.2. That would be 2nd-highest in the nation except that he hasn’t played enough minutes to get an official rating.
Free Keita!

Cool story. So…what’s wrong with the product? And if the answer is ’well they don’t win enough in the postseason’ then tell me how you supported Utah football prior to Urban Meyer?
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic One thing many Utah fans may not realize: in the forum Basketball (Men) 4 months, 1 week ago
They just beat a top-15 team. What are you not liking about the product?
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic One thing many Utah fans may not realize: in the forum Basketball (Men) 4 months, 1 week ago
I hope that’s not true. Personally my fandom is stronger than one loss.

Did you know that Utah plays more than one basketball game per year? its true! We actually play almost 30 of them.
We would love to see you at one of the other games.

Right now you couldn’t get half a pepperoni pizza in exchange for the Jazz.

That’s the thing. In this day of portal madness, bad news always comes first. You always get the losses before you see the gains.
We’re in the bad news phase. This is when we find out who we’re losing (just like everyone else in the country). After this come the wins.
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic What made college football great. in the forum Football 4 months, 1 week ago
7 – Unpredictability. The problem with the NFL (and NBA, and really all pro sports) is that the players are too good. Mistakes are rare (unless you’re the Jets). Every player is a freak athlete. Nobody has any weaknesses.
The thing I like about college sports is that the level is high, but you can still expect the unexpected. I guess I like my…[Read more]

Question for everyone who is saying that the portal is destroying college football: What would it take for you to stop watching it? How bad would things have to get?
i ask because i keep hearing about how CFB has been ruined and whatnot. But then i keep seeing record viewership numbers and record revenue reports. Just wondering when the…[Read more]

Lovering was also in foul trouble all night. But yes, I agree – Keita is the better player of the two and should be starting at the 4/5. Just don’t expect him to stretch the floor at all.
GameForAnyFuss replied to the topic Free Keba in the forum Basketball (Men) 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Probably pretty bad. Turnovers and poor perimeter defense will be our undoing. We should be better than them in the paint.

Minor injury. He should be back in time for the BYU-Provo Campus game.
