Bill Walton does nothing but add to the enjoyment of the game. He is funny, knowledgeable, interesting, and engaging. Probably the best color guy in the business today.

I have sorely missed him this year.

It starts at the top. Larry has not done a good job of getting these guys together, and more importantly, getting them prepared for crunch time situations.

You may miss Delon, but if you’ll remember the Utes lost a considerable number of games that came down to the last possession with Delon as well. Larry is great, but his percentage in games that come down to the last possession must be below 25%. He’s really bad. Larry has demonstrated a consistent inability to win close games. He is a really poor game coach. And Connor is right there with him – has been all along.

That said, it is not even close to time to look for a new coach. This team is going to be good next year. And Larry is very good at getting talent to come here.

I’m going to dump Comcast TV right after March Madness and I’m wondering if I can sever all ties with them by switching to Utopia/xMission. It’s roughly the same price, but quite a bit faster (I don’t really do much where I need faster connections – Netflix, UteHub, porn…)
