Ohio State is Nike.
The only DI P4 schools that UA sponsors are: Notre Dame, Maryland, Utah, Northwestern, and Wisconsin.
In recent years they’ve lost contracts with South Carolina, Texas Tech, UCLA, Cal, and BC.

If Ludwig is given somebody else’s mobile/dual-threat QB and made to simplify his offense while keeping some holdover elements of the prior spread-to-run scheme the product is pretty good. That hybrid scheme seems to maybe have a slightly lower ceiling but a much higher floor than Ludwig running purely his system with his guys.

More than half of D1 schools are sponsored by Nike. It is far better than UA, Jordan or Adidas. I don’t think anyone is expecting the Oregon treatment. The standard Nike sponsorship provides more options at better prices for fans and players gravitate toward Nike. It looks better, too.

First thing I am with Diddysquat that I really hope this happens.

Second thing is that I dropped my daughter of up at Utah State and went into their book store with my wife. She was all about the Utah State apparel because it was more appealing or something. I am not a fashion Icon by any means but when my wife notices that Utah State has better apparel than the U, we definitely need a change.

Lastly I am not sure it will be much different than UA for the players but as a fan I am all for it so I have more/better options to wear.

Of the 3 QB’s most like to give Ludwig credit for, he recruited none of them: Johnson, Huntley, Rising. Ludwig should probably get most, if not all of, the credit for recruiting Jordan Wynn but Wynn didn’t commit until after the Sugar Bowl and I’m not sure when it was announced that Ludwig was leaving.

For a guy who spent as many years as he did with QB coach as part of his responsibilities, Ludwig has a pretty thin resume when it comes to bringing in quality recruits.
