So with Veltray Jefferson asking out of his NLI, what does that mean for our scholarship count? Do we have another spot available for someone in the portal to go after? Was this already accounted for since we’ve known Jefferson was not coming for a few weeks now?

Wright is rated as the #4 DB in the country. He still has roughly 8 schools in the mix but has good things to say about Utah. Sounds like Shah has a great relationship with him. Whit said he plans to retire by age 65 which is in 5 years. I think most would agree that Whit has done an amazing job building the program. And based on our current trajectory, I’m optimistic in 5 years Whit could have us solidified as a top 20 recruiting class, year in and year out.
