I completely agree with you MD. I want to go to a Utes sport site to talk sports. This is why I moved on from Utefans about seven years ago. It became too political. I have some strong political opinions, but this is NOT the site to discuss them.

MD, You are right about the year we got more yardage. I was thinking more about formation when we had Kuithe, Kincade, and Fotheringham all on the field at the same time. That was quite a TE trio.

I hope to see us open up the offense a bit more. We have the QB and the receivers to do so.

I like what I have seen from McClain. But, at best he will be the 4th or 5th option in this offense (assuming players stay healthy).

The top targets IMO will be: Kuithe, Singer, Pittman, and Bernard. Followed by: Parks, McClain, King, Zipperer, and Ryan. I am sure there will be a surprise that I am not expecting.

Rose Bowl is no longer a tie in for any conference. It is part of the CFP.

I suspect that Bernard will be RB1. However, I am not sure who will lead the team in carries and yards. I am just happy to hear that Mitchell put on some weight and strength.

I will support whoever the backup is. However, I hope it is Wilson. I think he is our future.

I think Wilson wants to earn the backup role. Then he may look to have his surgery in December or January. If he is the backup this season – he would be the favorite to start in 2025 if Rising doesn’t return.

The guys doing the interview were great. They realize that it is okay to not like your rival.

Also, they interviewed a BYU Dlineman who was asked about Cam’s comments and he said that there was nothing wrong with what Rising said. He said that he would not have expected anything different. It’s football, not Yatzee…

Philly, I would prefer that all P4 teams never play FCS teams. However, it does some good for the FCS teams. It is typically their biggest payday of the season.

I think that our 2008 team was much better than the BYU 1984 team. We beat two teams that were ranked in the top ten in the last poll and two more that were in the top 20. In 1984 BYU beat NO ranked teams. They did beat Pitt in the first game of the season, but Pitt ended up 3-8. They beat a 6-6 Michigan in the Holiday Bowl.

Woods is out for the season from the reports that I have heard.

Also, we will have the SUU game to get some hitting in. Not starting with a P4 team is a benefit IMO.

Whitt said we are deep across the Dline. We are strong at LB. Running against the Utes will not be easy.

CB is having fun with it. One poster said that Cam looks like a 50-year-old guy looking for his pack of Marlboros.

So, RB may be our best position group. (Kind of kidding)
