This is completely my opinion, but the one thing that may play in favor of this happening is the status of our team going into the regular season game vs the championship game. So overall conference record determines standing in the division. If two teams are tied, then the head-to-head result decides who plays in the championship game. If there are more than two teams tied, then they go down the list of elimination criteria to remove all but two teams, then use the head-to-head results.

I’d be happy with that. That puts us in the Rose Bowl, as it would likely mean the PAC12 doesn’t get a playoff team again.
