Thinking about taking in Saturday’s game (first ever visit to SLC)

  I’m visiting SLC for a week of vacation and was thinking about trying to go to the Utah/WSU game on Saturday. In looking at ticket prices I see that “standing room only tickets” are available for as low as $53. Is this a decent way to see the game? East or west side? Or should I try for a higher priced ticket?
  
  Also, I’m flying in from South Carolina (Clemson fan, alum). Beyond ticket guidance, any tips to make the most out of a visit to Rice Eccles?

  Take the train into the stadium. Utewalk is pretty cool. Lots of good tailgating. Really not a bad seat in RES. So I guess the question is do you want to stand or have a seat.

  Multiple tailgate lots. Best is Southeast of the stadium. Wear your team’s gear and you’ll be offered a beer from any tailgate I’m sure.

  Stop by the Ute Hub tailgate for sure. No matter where you sit you’ll have a great time.

  Due to the weather there will likely be plenty of tickets available from fair weather fans. Don’t bother with SRO.

    Where would be the best place to find a ticket – scalpers at the stadium? Sites like stubhub?
