We win out and beat Oregon by 10 or so.
Auburn over Bama.
Oklahoma loses to OSU but beats Baylor.
Clemson loses at least once.
LSU over GA, hopefully by a decent margin.
tOSU doesn’t slip up in CCG.
If all of those happen we’re a lock. If most of the happen we may still get in.
Clemson is irrelevant to us. Would it be nice if they lost? Sure, but they have little bearing on getting the 4th seed.
The worst thing that could happen is Georgia beating LSU in the SECCG. As long as LSU, OSU, and Clemson win out, we will have a decent shot at getting in.
AT this point the worst thing that could happen is Utah overlooks Colorado. I was really pulling for Washington to win last night as that would eliminate the Buffs from having a shot at a bowl game. Now they are going to play their guts out to get to a bowl game and it is a classic trap game for the Utes if they look past them at all and start thinking about playoffs and roses. With USC winning, we have to beat Colorado and if we want a shot at the 4 slot in the playoffs we need to beat them convincingly. I have full confidence that Kyle will not let this happen. Go Utes!
FWIW, Colorado also had a chance to go bowling last year and they dropped their final 6 games, including the one in Boulder against us. I’ll take our Senior Day motivation over their bowl game motivation.
